Rockfall Netting is a steel woven wire mesh netting which is used to prevent rocks and debris from falling onto roads, railways and other structures.
The mesh is made of heavily zinc coated or PVC + Heavily Zinc coated double twisted steel woven wire in accordance with EN10223-3 and ASTM 641.
The Steel wire used in the manufacture of the mesh is heavily galvenized (zinc coated) mild steel wire.Rockfall protection netting with plus PVC coating can be used in aggressive environments.In addtition to galvanization, the steel wire is coated with a PVC layer of anominal thickness of 0.50mm. The technical characteristics and the resisntence of the PVC to aging meet the revevant standarts.
